Was a mason and member of the American Legion.  Second marriage, 1-22-41.  Lloyd's obituary:  "Lloyd W. [William?] Fahl a resident of Salamonie Avenue Extended, Huntington, until last summer, and since then at Woodburn, died unexpectedly at 1:04 p.m. Sunday, at the home of his brother, Herbert Fahl, Alford, Florida, where Mr. and Mrs. [Lloyd] Fahl were visiting.  He was a former employee of the Millington Truck Body Co., Inc. 

     Mr. Fahl was born March 11, 1895, in Union Township, to George Samuel and Louisiana Virginia (Frech) Fahl.

     He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, a veteran of WWI, a member of the American Legion, the Chief Lafontaine Lodge, Scotish Rite, and Shrine.

     Surviving besides his widow, Lila, whom he married 1-22-41, are a son Roger, of Chicago, IL; two sisters, Mrs Myrtle Brown, Boulder, CO, and Mrs. Emma Miller, Pueblo, CO, and three brothers, Herbert, Lake Alford, FL, Albert T, Huntington, and Otis, Detroit, MI.  Deceased are two brothers, Burl, and a twin, Floyd, and four sisters, Mrs. Fern Accola, Mrs. Elizabeth Plasterer, Mrs. Maybelle Allman, and Mrs. Mary Schreiber.

     Friends may call at the Bailey Mortuary after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday. 

     Masonic memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday with Rev. W.W. Kennell officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery, with military honors by the American Legion.
