1740, and died August 27, 1824. he married Susanna___ , born 1752, died
May 28, 1842 ; emigrated to America about 1798, and in 1801 they settled
in Cadiz township, Harrison County, Ohio ; had issue

removed to Nottingham township in 1827, where he died in 1854 ; he
served in the War of 1812 ; married October 29, 1812, Deborah Harris,
died June 21, 1873, whose parents were pioneers in Harrison County ; had
issue : 1. Sophia, born September 6, 1813 ; 2. Susanna, born November 3,
1814 ; 3. Mary Ann, born August 6, 1817; 4. John, born November 29, 1820
; settled at Deersville ; married Nancy Johnson, daughter of Ephram
Johnson of Moorefield. ; 5. Eliza M., born July 6, 1825 ; 6. Catherine
born July 8, 1827; 7. Alice born July 4, 1829
